Greetings! I have the privilege of serving as the Pastor of Leadership and Teaching here at Emmaus along side these good men. I've been blessed with a great wife and four wonderful children. My wife's name is Lindsay; we have been married for over 10 years now and I really enjoy being married to this woman! My children are ages 8, 7, 5, and 3; their names are McKenna, Kalia, David, and Damon. I'm really proud of these kids and I pray that God will do a mighty work in each of their lives, using their unique personalities for His glory.
I was born and raised in Hemet and moved to Riverside while I earned my BA in Christian Studies from Cal Baptist University. I am currently about 70% finished with my Masters of Divinity through Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago. I hope to complete this program sometime in 2012.
My passion is for Christ and His Word, my family, the friendships I have been blessed with, and the church. My goal in the coming years is to work hard at what God has called me to do and also to maintain deep relationships with God and the people He has placed in my life.

I was born and raised in California and have lived in Hemet nearly thirty eight years. I married my high school sweetheart and am still learning what an amazing institution God put together when He made man and woman to be one. We have been very blessed, and by his grace we have grown closer to Him and to each other for over forty three years. We have two children, Brian and Robin, and, we think, the best daughter and son in law. We have five grandchildren that really seem to enjoy spending time with Grandma and Grandpa and we cherish each moment.
I was in the Air Force for four years and have recently retired from SkyWest Airlines after thirty four years. I worked in aircraft maintenance as a manager for quality assurance and training. I completed my Bachelors of Science degree in 1993 in Workforce Education and Training.
I love being with children – playing with them, listening to them, and learning from them. I also enjoy camping and any time spent with family. My greatest joy comes from "being used by Him" on a daily basis in just sharing God's love in word and deed.

I am a second generation Hemet/San Jacinto Valley Local, I have been married to my wife Kristy for almost 20 years and have one Gift from God, my son Dalton who is 18 years old.. My deep desire is to be used by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in which has lead me into a Leadership role here at Emmaus Christian Fellowship, using my spiritual gifts that God has given me. My wife and I have deep desires to see marriages grow under the council and direction of God's Word, applying the principles God has set in his word, and to see the Body using their spiritual gifts. I have a simple thought process of scripture application: Read! Apply! And Do! When it comes to getting real with God, Just apply the basics and grow. I am an avid outdoorsman who enjoys getting out into God's creation and hunting, fishing, camping and searching for opportunities to share the Gospel. I also enjoy archery and trap shooting with my family and friends. I have been employed with Eastern Municipal water District for nearly 20 years where I am a senior facilities locator and damage investigator. My family and I are just simple, ordinary people who put our pants on one leg at a time and want to have the Lord Jesus Christ illuminate our steps and direction into everyday life and live for him and his Glory & want to help you Grow in him also.

Grace and peace to you! By that same grace God has allowed me to be involved here with the family of believers at Emmaus and others the greater San Jacinto Valley. My desire is to minister in a practical, tangible way the love and mercy Jesus himself modeled for us by his life, to those in need both physically and spiritually. We continue to follow his example today by meeting needs and touching lives both locally and abroad. Through simple and effective outreach opportunities and in daily encounters with people who need to hear the Good News of the Gospel, or a gracious hand.
Born in Huntington Beach Ca, I moved to Lima Peru, Florida, Sedona Arizona, Nevada, before landing in Bishop, Ca and finally moving to Hemet in 1979. Met my best friend and great love Denise and married soon after. She is my help mate in all I do in ministry, family and work. God gave us four wonderful lives to pour into, in the form of our kids Jacob, Jordan, Hannah and Lucas. Each desiring to glorify God in their lives as they mature in Him daily. They bring me joy and add to my understanding of God's love expressed as "Abba" daddy.
As we go and grow in the coming years I will rejoice to see us continue to and grow in our ability to genuinely reflect the love of God and share the truth of His word in real, purposeful and practical ways. That the world would come to know that Jesus is alive and well, and in the lives of His people, working in a way that positively and powerfully effects the lost and hurting all around us. I look forward to partnering with you all in this daily adventure God has for us.

PHIL ANADY » Director of Pre-Adult Discipleship
I was born and raised in Hemet. I graduated from Hemet High in 2003 and attended California Baptist University (CBU) earning a degree in Liberal Studies. During my college years, I earned a private pilot's license, and, after graduating from CBU in 2007, earned a Multiple Subject teaching credential.
On November 10, 2007, I married my beautiful bride, Melissa. Melissa graduated from Vanguard University with a degree in Kinesiology and holds both a Physical Education and an Adaptive Physical Education teaching credential. On September 9, 2010, God blessed my wife and I with our first son, Carson.
I am currently a 7th grade math and science teacher at San Jacinto Valley Academy and the Youth and Children's Ministry Director at Emmaus Christian Fellowship. My desire is to help students learn how to worship, obey, and follow after our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My heart is dedicated toward helping students connect with adult believers in order to build a strong, multi- generational congregation at Emmaus; I want to assist parents with instructing their children about the core teachings of Jesus Christ and the foundations of the Christian faith.

I was born in Riverside, Ca and have lived in Hemet for much of my life. After graduating from West Valley High School in 2002, I attended Mt. San Jacinto College for 2 years and obtained my Associate of Arts (A.S.) in Social Behavioral Science. The following Fall I transferred to California Baptist University and obtained my Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and went on to earn my Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling Ministry. On September 1st 2007 I married the love of my life, Whitney. Whitney is also a graduate of Mt. San Jacinto College and is currently a pre-school teacher for a local Christian pre-school. On May 8th 2011, Whitney and I were blessed with our first son, Joseph.
I am blessed to be on staff with Emmaus Christian Fellowship Church as Director of Adult Discipleship. I have a passion to see people change into the image of Christ and am dedicated to faithfully serving the church with the gifts God has given me. My hobbies include hiking, martial arts, music, and exercise.
Currently, I am working on my Master of Theology (Th.M.) from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary specializing in Pastoral Counseling. I am on track to finish my degree in 2013.

MIKE THEZIER » Director of Music & Communications
I was born and raised in Fresno, CA. I graduated from Buchanan High in 2003 and attended CSU Northridge as a Music Media Composition major for one year before transferring to Vanguard University. I graduated from Vanguard with a degree in Music Ministry and a minor in Religion in May of 2008.
I married my beautiful wife, Janna, on April, 23rd, 2011 and have been so blessed to share life with her. Janna and I met at Vanguard University where she earned a degree in Mathematics. She is amazing in too many ways to mention here.
I am so excited to be part of Emmaus and partner with the amazing people here. My heart is to see people's lives changed in practical ways to the glory of God. I want to join with what God is doing in and through his people around the world. I thoroughly enjoy sharing stories and awareness through pictures, video, music and the web. In addition to working at Emmaus, I also run a photography business with one of my good friends. I am a fan of camping, hiking, making fires with a magnesium strip (Thank you SurvivorMan and Bear Grylls), movies, and conversations over coffee among other things.

I was born and raised in Southern California, moving to Hemet 1968. I graduated from Hemet High School in 1974 and the University of La Verne in 1978 with a degree in accounting.
I currently operate a Certified Public Accounting firm which I began in 1984 under direction from the Lord (Proverb 16:9). In 1981 I married my wife, Candy, who was born and raised in Hemet. She currently owns and operates two businesses in the San Jacinto Valley.
I am excited to be a part of God's redemptive history in starting a new body of believers here in the San Jacinto Valley. So many things that were taken for granted now become a point of faith, depending wholly on God's grace and direction (Psalm 18:2). I look forward with anticipation to the things God will accomplish through Emmaus Christian Fellowship in the months and years to come, until He returns (Acts 1:11).
