Please join us for this 19 lesson study, running from October 22nd, 2017 – March 11th, 2018. The Pilgrim’s Progress, written by John Bunyan over 300 years ago, is one of the most widely-circulated books ever to be published in the English language. In spite of its popularity in the past, many people today are not familiar with this masterpiece. Join us for this class as we take a guided tour of this allegorical work, showing that Christians have as much to gain from this book today as they did hundreds of years ago.

Sunday school is available for chilren grades K-5. The toddler center is available for children ages 11/2 to 4.

Visit emmauscf.org/essentials/pilgrims-progress/ to view the class schedule.

MEMORY VERSE(S)
“And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever” (Daniel 2:44, ESV).

CATECHISM QUESTION(S)
Baptist Catechism #109:
Q. What do we pray for in the second petition?
A. In the second petition, which is “Thy kingdom come,” we pray that Satan’s kingdom may be destroyed, and that the kingdom of grace may be advanced; ourselves and others brought into it, and kept in it, and that the kingdom of glory may be hastened.

"Him we proclaim,
warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom,
that we may present everyone mature in Christ."
(Colossians 1:28, ESV)
